| Description: | Senior Support Engineer Our client is based just outside of Woking and has been established for ten years.They are a small company with high expectations and standards, looking for a Senior Support Engineer. You will need to be an effective communicator who organises themselves efficiently. You will be working with all members of the team and you will be supporting two junior staff once you are established. Duties will include: Creating and executing work plans. Supporting in house engineers on day-to-day operational aspects. Effectively applying the company's methodology and enforce project standards. Identifing new business development opportunities. Inspiring coworkers to attain goals and support them as needed. Keep up to date and remain on the forefront of emerging industry practices. Communicate effectively with members of the team and clients building long lasting relationships. Installation and configuration of computer systems. Monitoring and maintaining networks. Able to take clients step by step through a series of actions. General troubleshooting. Able to set up new users and support new applications. Test/evaluate new technologies. Replace parts as necessary. Ideally you will be Microsoft Certified and be able to set up a server from scratch. You will need a full driver's license and own vehicle. |
