Description: Our prestigious client based in Guildford is looking for a professional legal Secretary with a background in conveyancing to join their law firm. The role of the secretary is to provide a first class professional support service, currently to two Senior Associates within residential conveyancing which is part of the Real Estate department. The support provided will be as part of a team of one other secretary with shared responsibilities. The job content will be approximately 70% typing/document production and 30% administrative duties; this will of course vary depending on the day to day requirements of the role as the two lawyer’s job share. There are six specific core areas of responsibility that the secretary will be required to provide:- Document management/document production Client Support Team Support Administrative Support Other conveyancing specific administrative tasks Diary/Meeting management The Ideal candidate for this role will possess the following : Education & Qualifications: Good all round education with a minimum of 5 GCSE’s or equivalent Secretarial qualifications; Pitmas or RSA (or equivalent) 'A’ levels Degree Skills: Team player with a 'can do’ attitude Excellent organisation and administration skills Excellent attention to detail and accuracy Excellent telephone manner and ability to build a rapport with clients Excellent English and grammar  Experience: An excellent working knowledge of residential conveyancing procedures preferably in private practice.  Technical Knowledge: 65-70wpm 100% accuracy Advanced knowledge of Word, Outlook and a document management system Advanced formatting Personal Attributes Cheerful Willing to assist others Keen and enthusiastic Team player Calm under pressure
Salary or rate: £23k-£25k
