Part Time Purchasing Administrator – Godalming

Salary:£23,000 - £25,000 pro rata
Type:Part Time

Responsible to: Finance Manager

Main purpose of job:

Work closely with the sales team to process incoming orders and make sure that goods reach customers in a timely fashion. Assist the accounts team with invoicing and month end processes. Work with suppliers to ensure that the purchase process runs smoothly and incoming costs are correct.

Job Description:

  • Manage the buying/ordering of hardware/software through all stages (producing order sheets, purchasing, delivery/logistics, invoicing) to completion
  • Where possible, negotiate and seek the most cost-effective purchasing terms for the Company
  • Manage the sales and purchase order sheets
  • Check and sign off purchase invoices to ensure we have been billed correctly by suppliers
  • Record, monitor and track credit notes
  • Provide holiday cover
  • Assist sales team
  • Answer phones


Operate within and adhere to the Company’s Health and Safety Policy in all aspects of the role

Adhere to the processes and procedures laid down by the Company to ensure that all work is completed to the highest quality standards at all times
