Our client based in Cranleigh are recruiting for the role of Administrator/Packer to join and support their friendly team. This is a great opportunity as it offers the right candidate progression to take on the system management side of the organisation. You will need to be an enthusiastic, meticulous people person who enjoys taking on new challenges, meeting deadlines and can work well as part of a team as well as individually. The ability to develop strong relationships with clients is key and to take pride in your work with great attention to detail. Hours are Monday to Friday 8:30 to 17:00.

Key responsibilities – Administration

  • Work to deadlines daily
  • Speak with clients directly
  • Download, printing and packing a large amount of paperwork, often 4 times a day
  • Pack paperwork into presentation wallets, accuracy is paramount.
  • Updating stock records
  • Ordering stock & checking stock levels
  • As a small company there may be times where they will ask you to help with customer services cover for which phone coverage will be required, full training will be provided.

Requirements – Administration

  • Strong written and verbal English communication skills
  • Someone who can use their own initiative
  • Good telephone manner is essential
  • Good use and understanding of Microsoft Office especially Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Experience in an administrative role is preferred but not essential
  • We have our own bespoke system to which full training will be provided, therefore computer proficiency is important

Key Responsibilities – Packer

  • liaising with an account manager to determine the priorities for the day.
  • Receive Goods In on behalf of the client and manage the stock. Some lifting involved.
  • Pick and pack volumes of component stock to create the finished product. The range includes waterway testing kits and hotel convenience kits.
  • Assist with other warehouse duties when schedule allows.

Requirements – Packer

  • Able to work to deadlines
  • Numerate, there will be a lot counting involved
  • Organised and methodical
  • Experience with Batch and Lot numbers as well as stock rotation.
  • Work as an individual or as a team
  • Good communication skills
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office such as Word and Excel
