Business Development Manager

Location:Aldershot, Hampshire
Salary:£30000 - £35000 per annum + OTE £12,000

We have a great opportunity for a Business Development Manager. This role will be primarily telephone based and is focused on the conversion of sales leads into committed, enthusiastic clients.


  • Ensure every lead gets an appropriate follow up within the company’s target response
  • Establish with each prospect their business requirements and manage
  • Ensure the fees quoted fully reflect the value of the services being offered and ensure that the service package is specified clearly to avoid any ambiguity or misunderstandings
  • Ensure that knowledge of the company’s services, how they are deployed and the value to clients is up to date. This will include personal development through training, coaching and self-learning.
  • Build into every conversation and communication a high level of professionalism to convey the values of the company.
  • Build strong working relationships with other teams across the company, understand what part they play in delivering services
  • Identify and recommend additional services and features that the company might offer to help its clients achieve their business objectives
  • Take responsibility for your own professional development by investing time in learning additional skills, seeking new experiences, keeping up-to-date with industry trends and changes, and improving client relationship
  • Understand and apply business processes and systems for the role and take an active interest in identifying
  • Work collaboratively across the company to encourage a positive, supportive environment where each team member helps others with learning and feedback
  • Undertake other activities and tasks within the sales function and across the company as may be required from time to time to promote the interests of the business, it’s clients and team members
