Business Support Administrator

Location:Guildford, Surrey
Salary:£23,000 - £28,000 per annum

Our friendly, team orientated client based in Guildford, are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic administrator who will be capable of working with minimal supervision. The offices are easily accessible by car or public transport.

Responsibilities of the role include but are not limited to:

  • Answering the telephone, taking messages, directing calls and enquiries for all offices
  • Provide secretarial and administrative support to the business such as formatting, typing, collating
  • documents and project administration
  • Complete RFI’s and supplier questionnaires
  • Manage the administration of the supplier processes
  • Monitoring inboxes
  • Document management and processing including filing digital and physical records
  • Archiving of company documents

Key skills & experience


  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent skill level in the use of Microsoft Office (Word / Excel / Outlook)
  • Excellent skill level in the use of Adobe Pro
  • Excellent organisational / time management skills
  • Commitment to continual improvement at a personal and company level


  • NVQ administrative and / or secretarial qualification
  • Experience of working with ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 Management Systems
  • Experience in a professional services consultancy environment
