Location:Godalming, Surrey
Salary:£18000 - £21000 per annum

Part-time 15-19 hours (2.5 days per week)

  • Responsible for opening and closing the branch
  • Effectively process all transactions ensuring no errors are made and that the till balances at the end of each day
  • Ensure that all administration duties are performed accurately and in accordance with the company’s procedures
  • Assist members with enquiries and account opening
  • Communicate and promote products and services as required
  • Have a working a practical knowledge of the company’s risk management framework and understand the risks associated with your day-to-day activities
  • Follow and understand the procedures set out in the teller and process manuals, reporting and escalating controls that are unworkable or unnecessary
  • Ensure prompt escalation of issues, incidents and complaints
  • Take personal responsibility for adherence to policies, procedures and training
  • Comply at all times with statutory and non-statutory regulatory requirements
  • Deal with branch compliance returns
  • General office duties including answering the phones, post etc.
  • Provide support to the insurance side of the business as required

  • Being computer literate

  • Experience of working in a banking environment
  • GSCE Grade C or above in English and Maths
