Finance & Office Manager

Location:Petersfield, Hampshire
Salary:£40,000 - £55,000 per annum + Bonus

Our client based in Petersfield is looking for a Finance & Office Manager who will be responsible for ensuring the statutory and regulatory conformity of the company’s accounting and fiscal practices globally. The successful candidate will be responsible for the financial and management reporting and will involve administrative responsibilities including managing, reporting and coordinating HR function, IT and planning travel.


  • Monitor all company expenditure by managing the process for all overhead and expense invoices
  • Manage the company accounting systems, ensuring all postings are made accurately
  • Ensure controls, processes and procedures are in place in respect to financial reporting, capital expenditure, banking, payroll, pensions, insurances, invoicing, debt management and personnel expense reporting
  • Support MD in preparation of annual budgets
  • Produce reports for fortnightly payment for submission to MD (Europe)and submit by BACS.
  • Prepare EU and UK payroll
  • Produce month end journals and post onto financial system, to include all accruals, prepayments, wages etc.
  • Reconcile all balance sheet accounts and sales reports on a monthly basis
  • Produce and manage cash-flow forecast
  • Prepare of VAT for UK and US on a quarterly basis
  • Prepare all necessary documentation to ensure external auditors can conduct the annual audit and reporting
  • Prepare and enter the monthly sales forecast
  • Manage HR activities – maintenance of employee contracts/salaries/bonus/pensions etc
  • Organise travel requirements, coordinate conferences, meetings, lunches
  • Maintaining database of legal agreements, ensuring all agreements are up to date, signed and within term
  • Coordinating repairs to office equipment, liaise with landlord on maintenance issues
  • IT – coordination support functions
  • Record leave and sickness
