Finance and Operations Senior Manager

Our dynamic, global company sit in the Med-Tech sector and have a fantastic opportunity for a Financial Planning and Analyst focused Financial Operations Manager to join the Senior Management team!

The successful candidate will be a self-starter with a keen attention to detail, drive to lead continuous improvements and have an ability to set clear priorities in a fast-paced environment. They will have shown success in influencing business owners and supporting decision making in rapidly evolving environments. This role also has regular interaction with executives and various business units across the business which requires strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Cross functional partnership with Sales, Marketing, Operations, Corporate Development and other teams to drive visibility on Revenue and cost to serve and support other strategic initiatives
  • Coordinate activities with Accounting and FP&A to ensure accurate financial results and maintain adequate internal controls environment
  • Support invoicing and collections process and other transactional support for local activities.
  • Monitor and report out on key performance indicators, highlighting trends and analysing causes of unexpected variance
  • Drive continuous improvement of financial systems, processes, controls and policies as needed
  • Drive overall effectiveness of sales forecast and pipeline management, sales process, metrics and data.
  • Work cross functionally with business partners to communicate sales objectives, articulate systems requirements, and collaborate on process improvements.
  • Support organization for rapid expansion into other geographies
  • Ownership of UK SOX compliance workings for AI Awards

Budget/Forecasting/Action Planning:

  • Support in the development and delivery of standalone UK P&L including accurate and consistent monthly cost allocations for operational and non-operational costs
  • Lead all aspects of monthly and quarterly financial reporting processes for UK P&L including the alignment across business units / functions. Establish efficient and effective processes, cadences, and templates that drive quality and accuracy
  • Understand cost drivers and work with business partners to provide accurate and timely Budget and Forecast
  • Performs month end variance analysis for management and other ad-hoc analyses
  • Develop and/or enhance existing financial models to enable robust and dynamic financial planning on a rolling basis.
  • Work cross-functionally to provide finance support that focuses on growth and profitability of the business. Suggest solutions, resulting implications, key actions and strategic implications.

Sales Operations:

  • Support the UK Regional Sales Director on the development and roll out of UK Sales Dashboards
  • Understand the key drivers of revenue and establish an efficient and effective process for forecasting volume and revenue
  • Lead the interaction with Sales to maximize volume through effective and insightful analysis
  • Ownership of quarterly MBO calculations and accurate and timely deliver for inclusion in Quarter end accounts.

Qualifications:

  • ACA/ACCA/CIMA with strong technical ability
  • Strong financial acumen, demonstrated experience problem solving with analytical thinking, and history of business partnership
  • 5+ years post qualification, relevant experience, preferably experience performing managing a full P&L and/or prior management experience.
  • QAD and Adaptive experience preferred, advanced Microsoft Suite & Excel skills required
  • SOX compliance experience preferred
  • Healthcare experience preferred
