Strategic Channel Manager – London

Salary:£45,000 – £50,000 + OTE £90,000 - £100,000

The primary role of the of the Strategic Channel Manager is to work with our client’s strategic channel partner to generate and qualify mid-market/enterprise leads and opportunities for cloud communication services. The SCM is expected to work onsite at our client’s strategic channel partner’s offices and to generate a strong relationship of trust with the partner’s account managers and business development representatives.


  • Developing a strong relationship within this key account
  • Create and qualify sales opportunities, negotiate contracts and business plans, on-board, coordinate training, co-branding and joint marketing and driving new revenue on a consistent basis
  • Participate in training, onboarding, pipeline creation and other joint partner events
  • Joint Selling – Working with account executives to assist with customer meetings, demos, quotes, proposals while constantly educating the partner towards ever more self-reliance
  • Ongoing Partner Support – Ensure success of the partner selling services through frequent, constant engagements with partners

Skills & Knowledge

  • Demonstrable experience, knowledge, success and contacts in the channel partner community (Telecom – VARs, SIs, Agents, MSPs, etc.) including this strategic partner account and other existing partners
  • Experience selling IP telephony, UCaaS, CCaaS and/or SaaS in the indirect channel
  • Collaborative, solutions, consultative selling
  • Experience selling to accounts up to 5000 users
  • Experience managing and growing business with channel partner relationships
  • Experience with SFDC and developing/managing metrics that measure partner progress with all aspects of their relationship
  • Proven sales experience selling UCaaS, CCaaS and/or SaaS in a business to business model with channel partners
