International Sales Operations Manager

Salary:£30,000 - £40,000

Our prestigious client is looking for an International Sales Operations Manager to support the international markets team in the UK to understand and drive commercial performance by providing accurate and timely data and insight.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with previous financial or economic experience who is familiar with systems such as SAP, looking to take the next step in their career.

Key duties:

  • International Markets Budget and Forecast Lead: responsibility for leading the IM’s budgeting and forecasting process: providing support, insights and analytics. This will include: –
    • Generate weekly and monthly commercial performance data – volumes, sales, margins
    • Analyse market share, competitors and conduct competitor brand performance analysis
    • Convert data into meaningful and insightful analysis to support decision making
    • Provide accurate forecasting and demand planning, liaising with relevant departments
    • Provide detailed analysis of product costs to the Commercial team to assist in identifying savings opportunities
  • Process improvements: lead the simplification and transformation of data management
  • Maintain stock and sales trackers across key customers: detect and prevent forecasting errors: process-mapping of customer service/supply chain interface to minimise lead times and ensure orders are processed and prioritised accordingly
  • Provide insight into promotions by country and customer to analyse the most effective
  • Act as the Director’s ‘right hand person’ relaying accurate information and finding solutions to problems
  • Accountable for the monthly reporting cycle, preparing commentary as required
  • Business partnering with the Regional Managers to assist business planning, strategy development, new customer/distribution
  • Financial modelling and scenario planning to provide informed basis for all decisions
  • Act as a conduit between the IM team and all other business areas, acting as a two-way information hub
  • Prepare sales documentation to include proposals, reports, competitor information, analysis

Skills / Knowledge:

  • Strong analytical skills and demonstrable experience of analysing and interpreting large amounts of complex data
  • Strong commercial focus – ability to present key findings to the business
  • Results driven and able to work to tight deadlines
  • Ability to manage several projects simultaneously
  • Strong communication skills and good stakeholder management – able to work cross functionally



  • FMCG (preferred)
  • Previous financial or economic experience (required)
  • A proven track record in analysis and insight


  • SAP (an advantage to have) or similar system experience
  • Advanced in MS Excel, Word & PowerPoint
  • Practical knowledge of MS Office

Education and Training:

  • Degree educated
