Marketing Manager – 4 days per week

Our client has a unique opportunity for a vibrant, experienced B2B Marketing Manager to set up marketing for their multi-tier business. Though a thriving successful organisation their digital presence is minimal therefore experience working with Managing Director to create strategy and to implement is essential.

The organisation is a rapidly expanding SME that offers an energetic, dynamic environment where the business is rapidly evolving.


Job Description

To create and deliver marketing campaigns to drive business growth through brand awareness, digital presence and ensure the website is kept current and in alignment with Sales and Business goals.


As the Marketing Manager your key responsibilities will be: 

  • Delivering the marketing strategy and planning campaigns
  • Providing insight into the customer database to the business and driving growth of the base with a focus on new customers
  • Improving the quality and depth of customer information through relevant, effective communication
  • Maintain CRM integrity and manage contact data
  • Develop the digital marketing plan to support sales
  • Assess, propose and create content for campaigns, website, press & LinkedIn
  • Manage campaigns for social media activity
  • Understand and share key industry trends
  • Monitor competitor activity
  • Work with the sales team to generate, optimise and manage leads
  • Create marketing presentations


In order to be successful in this role you will have the:

  • Ability to create and deliver Marketing content for increased lead generation
  • Experience with campaign management tools
  • Strong SEO skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to work with Senior Management to deliver multiple business objectives


Qualifications & Experience

  • Marketing or business-related degree level preferred but not essential
  • 2 years+ relevant business experience in B2B  digital marketing
  • Thorough understanding of marketing strategy, campaign planning and project management
  • Well versed in the key concepts of digital ect marketing including SEO, PPC, Social Media, Print Marketing and Email Marketing
  • Basic understanding of GDPR and its impact on marketing communications
  • Strong copywriting experience required
  • Experience creating microsites would be advantageous

  • Must be numerical with good attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills, with both written & verbal
  • Confident with good interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrate strong organisational skills & ability to influence others
