We have a great opportunity for a temporary Office Manager, or similar level, to enable an office move over 4 weeks. Our client needs someone to ensure a smooth transition to a new larger office, with a longer-term lease and a number of new staff.
Duties will include:
- Sourcing and ordering equipment, furnishings and supplies for new office
- Organising move of computer equipment from old office to new office
- Accepting deliveries
- Greeting visitors
- Finding/contacting builders to arrange quotes for internal works
- Organising other office services including cleaners, security, utilities
- Liaising with building management / landlord / parking provider
- Other matters required for new office setup e.g. organising fire safety
- Assist with induction of new staff to the office (either new to the company or previously working remotely)
- Other typical office admin duties to assist the company directors
Requirements:
- Reliable and trustworthy
- Savvy with spending, handling budgets
- Well organised
- Excellent communicator with good phone manner
- Good written skills (especially in emails)
