Office Manager – temp 4 week contract

We have a great opportunity for a temporary Office Manager, or similar level, to enable an office move over 4 weeks. Our client needs someone to ensure a smooth transition to a new larger office, with a longer-term lease and a number of new staff.

Duties will include:

  • Sourcing and ordering equipment, furnishings and supplies for new office
  • Organising move of computer equipment from old office to new office
  • Accepting deliveries
  • Greeting visitors
  • Finding/contacting builders to arrange quotes for internal works
  • Organising other office services including cleaners, security, utilities
  • Liaising with building management / landlord / parking provider
  • Other matters required for new office setup e.g. organising fire safety
  • Assist with induction of new staff to the office (either new to the company or previously working remotely)
  • Other typical office admin duties to assist the company directors

Requirements:

  • Reliable and trustworthy
  • Savvy with spending, handling budgets
  • Well organised
  • Excellent communicator with good phone manner
  • Good written skills (especially in emails)
