Product Executive – Godalming

To assist the Senior Product Manager in the day-to-day operation of the Product Department to ensure it remains a smooth process and helps maintain profitable growth. Attention to detail will be key whilst working alongside numerous teams in the business to ensure all online and offline content is accurate to provide the best customer journey possible.

Main Responsibilities

  • Monitoring and maintaining inventory
  • Continual maintenance and improvement of the website
  • Assisting in creating accurate, well written and interesting copy for brochures and website
  • Close liaison with our overseas team including reservations, operations and contractors with any support they require
  • Prioritise and respond to any incoming queries from reservations or suppliers in relation to properties, contracts and payments
  • Assist Guest Services

Key Tasks

  • Write accurate and up-to-date content for the websites including descriptions, prices, imagery
  • Manipulating inventory
  • Maintain accurate up to date contracts from the contracts team, filing copies logically electronically on the server
  • Processing forms in order to get authorisations for committed payments
  • Problem solving (over-bookings, incorrect brochure info, loading errors) working within the product team and other teams
  • Day-to-day administration of the product including dealing with any correspondence (emails/calls/letters etc) from all areas of the business such as UK, overseas & suppliers
  • Processing contracts ready to go on-sale including chasing any outstanding information
  • Completing check sheets to ensure the product is correctly loaded into the system, matching contract with inventory ready to be converted in a timely manner
  • Manage any requests with the overseas office to support relations between our team and suppliers
  • Ask contractors/suppliers for photography to collate and archive using Thirdlight. Images can then be used for brochure or cropped/resized as necessary for website
  • Take part in meetings and Trading, support in sourcing/loading promotions and creating incentives for our sales teams
  • Represent the company at industry events either during the day or evening
  • Travelling overseas when necessary to visit teams or accompany agency educations or press trips

Knowledge, Skills & Experience

  • Excellent written English, communication & copy-writing/excel skills
  • European Language skills an advantage
  • Hard working with close attention to detail
  • Team-player, with ability to build and maintain strong, trusting, working relationships
  • Flexible ‘can do’ attitude, and sense of urgency, ability to thrive in a fast paced work environment
  • Ability to work unsupervised and to tight deadlines
  • Good geographical knowledge of Europe
  • Passionate about delivering high levels of customer experience
