Our client are world-leaders in a niche software market space and have developed a depth of knowledge and experience second to none. Due to continued success and expansion, they are looking to recruit a Product Manager to take charge of their latest SAAS product.

This is a key position in the company, working closely with our software development team, our sales team, and our customers.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing the Product Roadmap

Working closely with the Development Team and the Sales Team, the Product Manager will develop and manage the on-going roadmap for the product, maintaining its position as the Number One product in this area of business.

  • UX Design of New Functionality.

Working closely with the Development Team and the Sales Team, the Product Manager will develop and manage the on-going roadmap for the product, maintaining its position as the Number One product in this area of business.

  • In depth product presentations to customers

The Product Manager will design the User Interface of roadmap developments in a way that maintains the highest quality of User Experience of the product, prepare the design documents for the programmers to follow, and sign off on completion.

  • Promoting a Product First approach on implementation projects

The Product Manager will assist the Delivery Team with customer implementations of the software, promoting a Product First approach. This means advising customers and HG project staff on how best to satisfy user requirements, wherever possible with existing software functionality. Where this is not possible, the Product Manager must sign off proposed changes and extensions to the software, in line with the product roadmap and company objectives.

SKILLS REQUIRED

  • The academic aptitude to be able to build and continually develop a deep level of knowledge and understanding of the domain and of the product.
  • A passionate interest in software that delivers a great user experience.
  • The excellent communication skills needed to present software to customers in an interesting and motivating way, and to discuss and analyse customer requirements engendering confidence along the way.
