The Project Manager is ultimately responsible for delivering high level projects according to our client’s needs.

The project manager will be responsible for managing the control and delivery of the enterprise software solution to both larger and smaller clients, including all aspects of the project lifecycle.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Lead the planning and implementation of projects, facilitating the definition of project scope, goals and deliverables, and developing full scale project plans, collecting, understanding and documenting the business requirements for the project, and translating these into functional specifications and detailed test plans
  • Define project tasks and resource requirements
  • Provide the link between the customer, development team and any third party regarding software functionality, throughout the development lifecycle
  • Oversee solutions delivered using Microsoft .Net, Microsoft SQL, and other technologies (MVC, JQuery, SSRS) as deemed suitable by the requirements
  • Ability to write detailed documentation at all stages of the project lifecycle, documenting workflows and results of business analysis and obtain sign-off from client on the specifications
  • Day to day management of issues, risks and change requests in relation to the project plans to ensure agreed deadlines are met
  • Delegate tasks to organise, train and motivate members within project team
  • Develop effective working relationships within the Project Development Centre, Service Delivery Team, Commercial Team and Client, establishing management processes for projects
  • Network with customers, in-house departments, subcontractors and suppliers, attending meetings and industry events
  • Able to facilitate and gather client requirements through use of workshops, product demonstrations and core product knowledge
  • Able to take those requirements and understand the translation to a solution so as to facilitate the internal sign off and approval of the project; Private & Confidential
  • Participate in the weekly project team meeting to discuss project status, project resources, and other needs, presenting project data continually to senior management, identifying and communicating problems where apparent
  • Ad hoc tasks as defined by senior management during the course of normal duty.


  • Proven Track record of managing enterprise implementations within a software environment
  • Exceptional communication, presentation and interpersonal skills, with the ability to confidently interact with multiple business areas from the largest UK organisations
  • Solid time management
  • Effectively and proactively manage multiple work streams
  • Natural leadership skills, able to manage and coach small teams
  • Prioritise between short-term reactive demands and long-term planning
  • Strong relationship-building skills as well as the ability to negotiate both internally and externally
  • Good technical and product specialisation awareness
  • Resilient and able to deal with problems and deliver outcomes under pressure

Technical and Personal Skills

  • Must have certification in Prince2/APM/Agile Practitioner level or other recognised Project Management methodologies
  • Must have experience with delivery of enterprise software solutions
  • Must have excellent interpersonal skills, good team working and client facing skills
  • Preferable to have some understanding of web technologies such as Microsoft NET, SQL and SQL server, or delivering applications that use these technologies
