We have a great opportunity for a Retail Branch Manager, looking after our client’s store in Portsmouth.
Key responsibilities:
- Manage the customer experience ensuring the team deliver a first-class experience
- Utilise different leadership styles to effectively motivate and inspire the team
- Maximise team members potential championing a culture of continual development and progression, managing overall performance to achieve targets
- Budget responsibility and management of people resourcing ensuring efficiencies and store profitability through but not exclusive to cash, stock and lab management
- Work closely with the Retail Support Teams (RST) to identify solutions suitable for business improvement and commercial opportunities
- Drive the marketing strategy of the business gaining knowledge of local area and competition
- Drive the store key performance indicators (KPIs)
- Manage an effective stock control system, managing stock to balancing costs to the business against projected income
- Manage and continuously review adherence to legislation and regulations
- Manage Health and Safety effectively and ensure the store remains compliant
- Manage change positively and encourage cross team working aligned to company’s vision and values
- Knowledge of and adherence to employment law and HR guidelines relating to (but not exclusive to) performance, capability, discrimination, and disciplinary hearings
- Keep up to date with developments in the industry and across the business
- Lead external relationships here appropriate
