Senior Project Manager

Salary:£60,000 - £80,000 Per Annum DOE

Our client is seeking an experienced and driven Senior Project Manager to join their growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a highly organised professional to lead complex projects from inception through to completion, ensuring successful delivery within agreed timescales, budgets and quality standards. The successful candidate will play a key role in managing stakeholders, coordinating project teams and driving continuous improvement across project delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leading the planning, delivery and successful completion of multiple projects.
  • Managing project budgets, timelines, resources and risk management activities.
  • Acting as the primary point of contact for clients, stakeholders and project teams.
  • Developing and maintaining detailed project plans and progress reports.
  • Ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget and to the required quality standards.
  • Identifying and mitigating project risks, issues and potential delays.
  • Coordinating multidisciplinary teams and managing internal and external resources.
  • Monitoring project performance and providing regular updates to senior stakeholders.
  • Managing change control processes and ensuring effective project governance.
  • Supporting business development activities and identifying opportunities for future work.
  • Mentoring and supporting junior project management team members where applicable.
  • Driving continuous improvement and sharing best practices across project teams.

Experience and Skills Requirements

  • Previous experience as a Senior Project Manager, Project Manager or equivalent role.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing complex projects from initiation through to completion.
  • Strong stakeholder management and client-facing experience.
  • Excellent leadership, communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience managing project budgets, programmes and resources.
  • Strong risk management and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities simultaneously.
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management software.
  • Commercial awareness with a results-driven approach.
  • Relevant project management qualification (PRINCE2, APMP, PMP or equivalent) desirable.
