Our client is seeking an experienced Projects Engineer to join their growing technical team. This is a senior-level opportunity suited to someone with a strong background in piping and engineering, who can confidently oversee projects from concept through to delivery.
The Role
As a Projects Engineer, you will take ownership of a varied portfolio of engineering projects, ensuring they are delivered safely, on time and to specification. You’ll collaborate closely with internal teams, external partners and clients to drive high-quality outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage engineering projects from initiation to completion
- Provide expertise in piping design, layouts and associated engineering considerations
- Develop project plans, schedules and technical documentation
- Coordinate with suppliers, contractors and cross-functional teams
- Identify risks and implement effective mitigation strategies
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, standards and safety requirements
- Support continuous improvement initiatives across engineering processes
- Offer technical support and guidance to junior team members
About You:
- Strong experience in piping and engineering (essential)
- Proven track record delivering technical projects
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Strong problem-solving abilities with a proactive approach
- Able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Degree or relevant qualification in Engineering or a related field (preferred)
- Must hold a valid driving licence and be comfortable travelling to various sites
