Finance Director

An ambitious and growing organisation is seeking a commercially focused Finance Director to lead its financial strategy, performance, and governance. Reporting into the Executive Leadership Team, you will play a pivotal role in driving profitability, supporting business growth, and providing strategic financial insight across the organisation.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced finance leader who combines strong commercial acumen with a hands-on approach to financial management and business partnering.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the organisation’s financial strategy, planning and performance management.
• Deliver budgeting, forecasting and long-term financial planning activities.
• Provide strategic financial insight to support business decision-making and growth.
• Drive profitability through commercial analysis, financial modelling and performance improvement initiatives.
• Oversee cash flow, working capital and financial risk management.
• Ensure strong financial controls, compliance and governance frameworks are maintained.
• Develop meaningful KPI reporting and management information to support operational performance.
• Lead and develop a high-performing finance team

Experience and Skills Requirements

• Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA).
• Significant senior finance leadership experience.
• Power BI or similar reporting tools
• Multi-site business experience
• Strong commercial finance, budgeting and forecasting expertise.
• Proven experience managing cash flow, financial controls and business performance.
• Strong leadership, stakeholder management and influencing skills.
• Advanced financial analysis and modelling capability.
