Sales Manager – £60,000 OTE £80,000- £100,000

Due to our client’s phenomenal growth, they now require a seasoned and proven Sales Manager; someone who shares their values of energy, passion and a real hunger for success. You will be responsible for supervising, mentoring supporting and organising their sales team. You will be in charge of managing organisational sales by developing business plans, meeting planned goals, and coordinating with their marketing department. You will also be tasked with overseeing the activities and performance of your sales team by tracking sales goals, setting individual sales targets, and facilitate the on-going training of your salespeople.

A minimum of 5 years of successful sales management in a B2B environment along with a positive, can-do attitude are essential in this role.

Sales Manager Responsibilities:

  • Meeting planned sales goals
  • Develop, implement and deliver a multi-channel, national sales strategy that fully realises the potential of the excellent product range
  • Utilising all available market data to prepare a sales plan which will ensure targets are achieved
  • To develop a journey plan using “best practice” so maximising face to face visits
  • To add value in each customer visit
  • To be continually commercially active – this is a pro-active role not a ‘reactive’ role
  • Reporting daily, weekly, monthly & annually as required
  • Setting individual sales targets with the sales team
  • Tracking sales goals and reporting results as necessary
  • Managing, Leading and coaching all internal sales team
  • “Front Line Manager” for all colleagues within your department.
  • Set and track KPIs & sales targets for your team. Keep everyone “accountable”
  • Suggest and implement improvements in the sales administration process
  • Coordinate department projects to meet deadlines
  • Use customer feedback to generate ideas about new features or products
  • Periodically provide reports on the internal sales activities of the company
  • Monitoring all opportunities in pipeline(s) and ensure a robust consistent follow up program is adhered to
  • Ensure all customers are treated with professionalism, courtesy and respect at all times, in response to any enquiry or service they may be requesting
  • Providing help and advice to colleagues within your team using your organisation’s products or services
  • Involvement in staff recruitment and appraisals
  • Learning about your organisation’s products or services and keeping up to date with changes

Keeping ahead of developments in sales by reading relevant journals, going to meetings and attending courses

  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of the company and brand
  • Managing and Implementing Training within your team(s)
  • Running Monthly Sales Meetings
  • Performance management
  • Work to KPIs set by Sales Director
