12 Days of Recruitment…

Christmas Recruitment

Christmas 2019 is almost upon us and if you’re already starting to feel a little festive here’s a much loved Christmas classic song – with a little recruitment twist.

  • On the first day of Christmas, a client came to me: A PR pro ready to go on a hiring spree.
  • On the second day of Christmas, a client came to me: To tell me that his business loved me.
  • On the third day of Christmas, a candidate came to me: A PA who was ready to do more and earn a higher fee.
  • On the fourth day of Christmas, a candidate came to me: A chatty guy with lots to say – but no CV.
  • On the fifth day of Christmas, a client came to me: Said, “next year we want you to help us achieve great things.”
  • On the sixth day of Christmas, a candidate came to me: someone who drank seven cups of tea.
  • On the seventh day of Christmas, a candidate came to me: Said, “I need job satisfaction too, it’s not just about the money.”
  • On the eighth day of Christmas, a client came to me: Asked how to recruit more cost effectively.
  • On the ninth day of Christmas, a graduate came to me: Said that, for her, business culture, vision and values were key.
  • On the tenth day of Christmas, a candidate came to me: Demanding one specific job – I said, there’s no guarantee.
  • On the eleventh day of Christmas, a client came to me: Said, we don’t just need one new person now we need three.
  • On the twelfth day of Christmas my candidates and clients gave to me: A wealth of challenges and opportunities for 2020!
