Role summary

Working across two sites in this varied role you will be a vital part of the company administrative departments, and also be the friendly, welcoming face of the company. As well as providing a smooth front of house service, you will also undertake general administrative duties for Shared Services staff.


Role & Responsibilities

  • Providing an efficient service to visitors and staff
  • Ordering stationery, first aid and cleaning supplies
  • Maintaining petty cash
  • Answering the phone promptly and ensuring callers are connected quickly
  • Managing and maintaining the calendars and booking meeting rooms for staff
  • Maintaining presentable and tidy reception areas
  • Meeting and greeting visitors and ensuring they feel welcome and comfortable
  • Collecting registers from classes every morning and afternoon
  • Dealing with incoming and outgoing post
  • General administrative duties for the wider teams including filing, photocopying and printing
  • Co-ordinating taxi bookings and schedules for pupils and adult learners


Person / Experience Required

  • Educated to GCSE standard (or equivalent)
  • First Aid trained or happy to undertake First Aid training
  • Competent user of the Microsoft Office Suite – Outlook in particular
  • Professional and courteous manner
  • Good written and spoken English
  • A team player who can use own initiative to solve problems
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Previous Reception or Front of House experience would be advantageous
